Lisa Kristosik, RN, MSN, BSN
President & Chief Executive Officer
Lisa Kristosik became the Chief Executive Officer at Blossom Hill in April, 2020. She was previously the President of Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio where she worked for over 9 years. Prior to that, she was the Director for Home Health at Montefiore in Beachwood. Lisa earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2011 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2009. She has been a registered nurse since 1999 and her nursing practice has always focused on dignity and quality of care throughout the life cycle.
Lisa was featured as one of Crain’s Cleveland Business’ “Women of Note” in 2019 for her work related to the opiate crisis in Northeast Ohio and the launch of a pediatric home health program in affiliation with Metro Health.
Chief Operating Officer / Executive Director
Lynne Urbanski has been with Blossom Hill since 2005 and has worked with individuals with developmental challenges for more than 40 years. Under her leadership, Blossom Hill grew from one home to four ICF/IIDs in Cuyahoga County, as well as its respite and outreach programs, which serve several Ohio counties. She is also a board member for Ohio Providers Resource Association (OPRA).

I understand the challenges these individuals and their families face, and I approach every circumstance with heartfelt passion and genuine empathy. I can imagine no other career and am proud to dedicate my life’s work to helping individuals, families and communities who truly need our love and support.”
Harry Cool, CPA
Director of Finance / Controller
Harry Cool joined Blossom Hill in March, 2021. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Akron. He was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana for over 23 years. He is a past member of the governing board of the Bethany United Church of Christ and a volunteer at the Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Director of Development
Lori has worked at Blossom Hill since 2016 but her passion to serve the developmentally disabled population is rooted in her volunteerism with the DD population at a young age and eventually becoming her sister’s guardian.
She has a background in marketing, sales, and communication. She holds a Bachelors of Science from The Ohio State University, is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses, and is an active participant on several boards and volunteer work.

Ron DeVerse joined Blossom Hill in 2011. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 20 years as a patient care technician. He also has six years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) and was recognized as the “NHA of the Year” in 2010.

I am deeply proud to be part of the Blossom Hill family, and I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to serve such amazing people.”
Devin Peck, RN
Director of Nursing
Devin started at Blossom Hill as the Assistant Director of Nursing in January, 2021. She has been a nurse for seven years and certified in infection control prevention. As a manager for the past five years, she teaches State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) courses and has worked on oncology and medical surgical units and in skilled rehabilitation and long-term care settings.
House Manager, Center Ridge House
Sarah Gorman has worked at Blossom Hill for six years. Prior to that, she spent nearly 20 years in administrative and management roles, both in the restaurant and construction industries. She has valuable experience in policies and procedures and working with management staff to implement them to help businesses succeed.

Julie Darovich, LPN
House Manager, Parma House
Julie Darovich joined Blossom Hill in 1994 (then known as Haven Hill Home) as a direct support professional (DSP) and continued with Blossom Hill as an LPN in 1997. In 2019, when Blossom Hill acquired Parma House, she became the House Manager there.

Mahmoud (Moody) Assad
House Manager, Blossom & Haven House
Mahmoud (Moody) Assad has worked at Blossom Hill since 2017. A licensed counselor, Mahmoud (Moody) Assad has worked at Berea Children’s Home in the Adolescent Behavioral Health unit and Cleveland Clinic in the Adult Behavioral Health unit.
“As House Manager at Blossom Hill, I feel I can truly make a difference advocating on behalf of our residents and their families. We are a family here, a family made of residents and caregivers, and I am very happy and grateful to be part of it.”
Brian Myers came to Blossom Hill in 2016 and manages grounds, building maintenance, state/local fire and safety compliance for all four homes. Brian entered the healthcare field as a dental equipment repair technician and, after attending Lorain Community College, transitioned into nursing and assisted living facilities maintenance.
“While working at a large senior care community, I came across a part time ad for maintaining the North Royalton location. After touring the facility and conversations on the needs of the organization I accepted a full time position to join Blossom Hill’s team. I made the right decision moving to Blossom Hill and as we continue to expand I enjoy making a difference ensuring our residents have safe and healthy homes every day.”
Emily started at Blossom Hill in September 2020. She has over 11 years of experience in marketing and communications for nonprofit organizations that provide education and healthcare services. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of Wooster.
