May 21, 2021 – The individuals at Blossom Hill, Inc. celebrated National Police Officer Week (May 9-15) and National EMS Week (May 16-22) to show appreciation for the officers and EMS workers who serve Parma, North Royalton, and Westlake areas. Individuals at Blossom Hill’s Parma House made homemade cookies and painted rocks for the officers at Parma Police Station and Fire House. They delivered the gifts in person with cards and balloons.

Nationally, the theme for the week was Officer Safety and Wellness (OSW) with the goal of providing daily morning workouts, a suicide prevention program, a special Destination Zero Cardiac Wellness Screening, and an OSW Product Showcase to officers across the country. National EMS Week celebrates EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation’s communities. This year’s theme is This Is EMS: Caring for Our Communities.
