‘Over the last year we been doing as many outdoor activities as we can, such as picnics at the park on nice weather permitted or rides through the Metro Parks, or visits to Huntington Beach in Westlake – all of which our individuals enjoy.
We have also been to the African safari in Port Clinton, the Boo Thru for Halloween, and the Magic of lights and Wild Winter lights at the Cleveland Metro park zoo for Christmas. We try to do our best and get out but only when following safety guidelines to keep all residents and staff safe. We’ve also had to get creative: hosting virtual dances, ordering food and decorating to make it a more unique experience despite being in a familiar space!’
