The 13th Annual Golf Outing of Blossom Hill took place on Monday, June 24th, 2024. Over 100 golfers, guests, Individuals, and staff enjoyed the beautiful weather and golf course at Shale Creek Golf Club in Medina, Ohio. This year, a new award called The Blossom Hill Award of Excellence* was established in memory of Ralph Paul Zuponcic. This award recognizes his service, dedication, and leadership that contributed to the growth and success of the Blossom Hill organization while never compromising on its motto, “Where Love is the Quality of Care.” The award’s first recipient was Fred Garbinski, a former long-term board member who played a key role in focusing on the financials to establish funds that built 2 ICF homes in North Royalton, OH and identified future funding needs. Fred was honored by this recognition and was left speechless (which is hard to do).
*The Blossom Hill Award of Excellence—The board of directors will decide the annual award winner, who will be announced and recognized at our annual golf outing. The winners can be past or current board members, donors, staff, etc., as the award is based on three criteria: leadership, service, and dedication.
