BLOSSOM HILL FOUNDATION GOLF OUTING 2018

BALL DROP CONTEST RULES

  1. The price of each event ticket is $100. Please be aware: A maximum of 150 tickets will be sold for the Ball Drop contest. Sales will be first come, first served, so don’t wait!

  2. There are five fantastic prizes up for grabs: one $5,000 First Prize Award, and four $100 Awards.

  3. Winners will be randomly selected per the following procedure:

    • On the day of the Blossom Hill Golf Outing, all tickets will be placed into a hopper. Five (5) tickets will be randomly selected from the hopper. The individuals who purchased these five (5) tickets will each be awarded one of the aforementioned prizes.

  4. Prizes will be determined as follows:

    • If all five selected tickets indicate that the purchasers are willing to equally split the prize money with the other winners (indicated by a YES marked on the ticket by the purchaser), the contest will be considered complete, and all five winners will be distributed in equal portions of the available prize money ($5,400).

    • If one or more of the selected tickets indicate that the purchaser(s) is (are) not willing to equally split the prize money with the other winners (indicated by a NO marked on the ticket by the purchaser), then a Ball Drop will occur once all rounds of golf have been completed.

  5. Ball Drop procedure:

    • Once all golfers have completed their round of golf, the contest will commence on the putting green next to the clubhouse, located at Hole #18.

    • The corresponding number of each of the five (5) selected tickets will be marked on a golf ball, and all five balls will be placed into a container. The container will then be tipped over, and the balls will be dropped onto the green.

    • To determine prize amounts, the ball that goes into the hole will be considered the First Prize Winner; if no ball goes into the hole, then the ball closest to the hole will be considered the First Prize Winner. In the event that multiple balls are considered to be equally close to the hole, a tie will be called, and prize money will be split.

    • Total prize money to be paid to the five winners will equal $5,400. (Please note that of the five (5) qualifiers, those who indicated on their ticket a willingness to split prize money will be given equal portions of the prize after any deductions of amounts to be paid to those who chose not to split the prize money.
